Flattop Mountain Farm Market was started by Terry and Diane Hughes. Terry has been a farmer all his life and together with his wife Diane enjoys the hard work involved in the day to day farming operations.
At the end of April Strawberries are the first crop to ripen on the farm, there is nothing like a fresh picked Strawberry. Imagine plump juicy Blackberries fresh picked that morning and ready to eat or make your favorite jam or jelly. Look for our Peaches this year, we're excited to add them to our list of fresh picked fruit. Our traditional vegetables include Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Melons, Green Beans, Squash, Cucumbers, Okra, Variety of Sweet Peppers, Pumpkins, Potatoes, Onions and some other select vegetables.
All this is grown right here on our farm, so naturally we wanted to share the freshness of our crops with everyone and opened our own Market right on the farm. Flattop is the community we live in, we have wonderful neighbors and are very proud to live here. Thus the name Flattop Mountain Farm Market. The produce we sell is fresh picked from our farm, this helps us to ensure quality to you. We are opened seasonally from May to October. But our farming endeavors don't stop at fruits and vegetables .
